Anker Soundcore Flare and Flare+ are here - New waterproof speakers with light effect

Anker which is a global leader in charging technology and external batteries launched its first audio product in 2014 and it is now one of the best-selling audio brands globally.

They could gain this popularity in a short time by releasing good value speakers for a low price and now their audio line-up is expanding.

To further strengthen its audio department, Anker announced to unify all of its popular audio products under the new Soundcore by Anker brand and partnered with new retailers to make them available for more customers.

So we can expect several new Soundcore speakers coming and the first two which will hit the stores will be the Soundcore Flare and the Flare+.

Both look very similar, they are compact, bookshelf speakers with minimalistic design and 360-degree omnidirectional sound.

They have a cylindrical shape similarly to the Bose SoundLink Revolve and a full fabric outer coating.

To improve their portability and prepare them for outdoor usage, they got IPX7 water protection, so they are completely waterproof and can be submerged into 1-meter-deep water for 30 minutes.

In terms of sound quality, they will come with the Anker’s new BassUp technology which is designed to enable the speakers to create a big sound with powerful bass without distortion.

Under the hood, the Flare has a passive radiator and two drivers shooting the sound in different directions.

As an extra feature, both speakers will sport a LED light at the bottom which color and pattern can be controlled with the new Soundcore mobile app.

Actually, the Flare will be the first speaker which utilizes the Anker’s new Soundcore app.

If you want to amplify the sound level, you can connect two Flare speakers together and their sound and light will synchronize seamlessly and create a stereo experience.

The difference between the two models is that the Flare+ will be a bigger device with louder sound and longer battery life.

Both speakers will be available in four colors: red, blue, gray and black.

The Flare can be bought from May 7th at $60 retail price while the Flare+ will be available from August for $100.
