The market of the smart speakers is getting really interesting nowadays.

In last November Google released a smart, wireless speaker the Google Home to compete against the Echo of the Amazon.

However, in the meantime, Amazon extended its smart speaker line-up with a smaller, cheaper version of the Echo and introduced the Echo Dot.

As an answer to this Google has announced two new speakers the Home Max and the Home Mini at the Google's Pixel 2 event on October 4th.

As its name implies the Mini is the smaller version of the original model, it has a size similar to a doughnut.

It provides the same functionalities and voice control capabilities as the bigger model but with a lower price tag.

It cost $49 compared to the $129 of the original model, so now it is more affordable to buy multiple speakers to have the voice assistant and control your smart house in every room.

The top is completely covered with a textured fabric which gives a modern elegant look to the device.

The speaker is available in three colors gray, black and coral red.

It can be pre-ordered online and available in stores from October 19th.

The second speaker which was announced at the event is the Google Home Max, the largest in the portfolio and as Google claims it is not just smart but provides excellent sound.

It has two 4.5” woofers and two 0.7” tweeters under the cover and beside the hardware, Google developed a smart software which helps the speaker to adjust the sound according to the acoustical conditions.

It is called Smart Sound and means that an intelligent algorithm dynamically adjusts the sound balance and the volume level of the speaker.

The Home Max comes in gray and black colors and available from December for $399.
