In this user guide, I would like to help those ones who have just bought their new speaker and do not know how to pair and connect their JBL Go to a Bluetooth device and do not know how to use it.

First, you have to quickly press the power button to turn on the speaker.

The speaker plays a short starting sound and a blue indicator LED lights up.

If the Go has not been paired with any device yet it automatically starts in pairing mode.

It means that the blue LED light is blinking and the device is immediately discoverable, you can easily find it with your phone or computer.

How to pair and connect it to an android phone?

On your android phone go to the ‘Settings’, click on the ‘Connections’ and enable the Bluetooth of the phone.

Click on the ‘Bluetooth’ menu item and the phone starts to automatically scan the available devices.

After some seconds the JBL Go appears in the list.

Click on the JBL Go.

The speaker plays a confirmation sound and it is connected together with the phone.

How to pair and connect it to an iPhone?

On your iPhone phone go to the ‘Settings’ and enable the Bluetooth of the phone.

Click on the ‘Bluetooth’ menu item and the phone starts to automatically scan the available devices.

After some seconds the JBL Go appears in the list.

Click on the JBL Go.

The speaker plays a confirmation sound and it is connected together with the phone.

How to pair and connect it to a Windows 10 laptop?

Press the ‘Windows + I’ hotkey to open up the ‘Windows Settings’.

Click on the ‘Devices’ and turn on the Bluetooth of the computer.

Now click on the ‘Add Bluetooth or other device’ button.

Choose the ‘Bluetooth’ in the list.

Now the computer starts scanning the available devices and after some seconds the JBL Go appears in the list.

Click on the JBL Go.

The speaker plays a confirmation sound and it is connected together with the computer.

How to pair and connect it to a second device?

Before you pair the second device make sure the Bluetooth is turned off on the first device otherwise the speaker will automatically connect to it and quit from pairing mode.

Since the speaker is already paired with a device from now it does not start in pairing mode you have to switch it manually to pairing mode.

To do this press quickly the ‘Bluetooth’ button.

The blue indicator LED starts blinking and the speaker is discoverable.

Now you can pair it with your second device.

How to reset the JBL Go?

If you have a problem and you cannot pair the speaker, try to go into a room where are no Bluetooth and other radio signals which can interfere and try the pairing process again.

If you still have a problem, you can reset the JBL Go back to the initial state by keep pressing the ‘Volume up’ and the ‘Bluetooth’ buttons simultaneously until the speaker turns off.

After this, the speaker is reset back to the initial state, the pairing information is cleared and the speaker

How to use the JBL Go?

While playing music you can adjust the volume level by pressing the ‘Volume up/down’ buttons.

You can pause/play a song by quickly pressing the ‘Phone’ button and you can skip a song by double pressing it.

If you have an incoming call, you can answer it by quickly pressing the ‘Phone’ button.

How to charge it?

You can charge the speaker with the micro USB cable included in the box.

The charging port is situated on the right side of the speaker.

Connect the micro USB cable to it and the other end of the cable to the USB port of your computer or you can connect it to a wall plug if you have one for example for your phone.
